  • EDA meetings are held the fourth Thursday in January, March, May, July, September, and December at 6:00 p.m. The EDA conducts two types of meetings--formal meetings at which items are formally considered and action is taken and informal meetings in which topics are discussed, but no action is taken.

Responsibilities

The Economic Development Authority (EDA) works with land owners, businesses, developers, public agencies, and non-profit partners. The EDA encourages significant job development on the considerable acres of land available for medical, corporate, and financial service office development. Historically, business addition, retention and expansion has been a priority in our established and centrally located downtown.
