Did you recently complete a construction project on your property? If so, be sure to provide temporary or permanent cover to reduce erosion and protect water resources. Covering exposed soils after a construction project is required in most cases to stay in compliance with City ordinance. Sod, cover crops (winter wheat or oats), mulches, tarps, and other products that prevent rain from coming in contact with the soil can be used to bring sites into compliance.
