The City has amended Chapter 130 of the City Code by adding Chapter 130.08 restricting where predatory offenders may reside.
The City Code states it is unlawful for any designated offender to live within 1500 feet of a school (pre K - Grade 12), public park or playground, public place of worship with regular educational programs (Sunday school), licensed child care center (excluding home day cares), and adult establishment businesses.
