[ARCHIVED] Do your part to keep your neighborhood free of nuisance conditions!

Public nuisances are conditions found to be detrimental to general health, safety, and welfare of the public. The following property maintenance conditions among others constitute a public nuisance in Apple Valley:

Public nuisances are conditions found to be detrimental to general health, safety, and welfare of the public.  The following property maintenance conditions among others constitute a public nuisance in Apple Valley:

  1. Outdoor storage of machinery, household appliances or furniture, or other material.
  2. Waste water cast upon or permitted to flow upon streets or other public properties.
  3. Noxious weeds as identified specifically by state statutes and by city ordinances.
  4. Trees, hedges, billboards or other obstructions affecting view at an intersection.
  5. Tree limbs and wires hanging too low above public streets and sidewalks.
  6. Refuse accumulation including yard and animal waste.
  7. Grass and rank vegetation over 8” in height.
  8. Exposed accumulation of rotting food.
  9. All pools or ponds of stagnant water.
  10. Obstructions of public right of ways.
